Deborah Tresise, Principal Solicitor

Deborah Tresise is the founding and principal solicitor at Baxter Warne Legal. She is committed to developing streamlined legal processes through application of emerging technologies, resulting in cost effective outcomes for everyday members of Australian communities.

Deborah has developed in-depth experience in dealing with legal issues affecting individuals, families and small business. Previously, for over twenty years, she held executive roles in the technology sector, advising Australia's corporates and financial institutions. She has a thorough and practical knowledge of both social interactions and commercial application, which she applies to her legal practice.

 

Deborah has in-depth understanding of issues relating to family law, wills and estates practice, elder law, commercial and corporate law and personal injury claims. In relation to matrimonial property settlements, she has developed expertise in complex financial arrangements and disputes relating to forum. She has acted on behalf of her clients in matters before the Supreme & District Courts of NSW and the Family  & Federal Circuit Courts of Australia, including an appeal matter before the Family Court of Australia.

 

Deborah is passionately committed to providing 'access to justice'. She is known for her pragmatic and empathetic advice and her holistic approach to bringing about resolution, by encouraging consideration of all of the aspects of a dispute, not just its legal context.

Bachelor of Science - University of Melbourne (Psychology, Pure Mathematics)
